Designing the platform that gives nurses around the world new work opportunities in Europe

The Care With Care team is committed to recruiting and integrating highly motivated healthcare professionals from abroad. In a 6-weeks UX design & branding sprint, we designed their platform from 2 perspectives: the nurses, the employers (hospitals). On top of that, we did a complete rebranding and website design.

Team Size
3 UX designers, 1 UX researcher, 1 UI designer, 1 creative artist

The first week of the sprint was dedicated to researching the Care with Care service. The processes are complex and involve many steps, therefore we took our time to clearly understand each part of the process. We started by performing an analysis of 5 competitors on the market. Secondly, we had three user interviews with nurses from the Philippines who used the Care with Care services. We had another user interview with an Employer (Hospital) that hires nurses through the Care with Care service. One of our UX designers had several meetings with the director of product and operations to make sure we understand and become experts on how Care with Care works.

The first step into the Concept phase was to have a workshop with the stakeholders. We went together through the Care with Care existing process, talked about pain points, and brainstormed how the new platform could simplify the processes and offer better engagement and overall experience.

With a solid concept, we started the mid-fidelity prototypes. We better defined the functionality, layout, and structure of the platform. This week was challenging as we designed from two perspectives: the nurse and the employer (hospitals) on two different screen sizes: mobile and desktop. In parallel, our creative artist and UI designers prepared 4 design directions for the Care with Care team to choose from.

When we finished the mid-fidelity prototypes and got the green light on the UI design direction, we started creating the high-fidelity prototypes.

WEEK Branding

As we were finalizing the platform, we started working on the Care with Care website design and branding. We started by holding a Branding workshop with the stakeholders where we brainstormed: Brand Core Offerings, Brand Purpose, Brand Promises, Brand taglines, Logos we like and don’t like and Website sitemap. Based on the workshop findings and the previous UI style of the Care with Care platfom, our artists defined the style and directions of the website.

We had everything we need to start designing each page of the website. We started with the mid-fidelity prototypes and continued with the high-fidelity screens. We delivered everything on time to the developers who took over.

Since Care with Care implemented their new onboarding process, they generated over 100 sign-ups - 3x more than before.
